All the time on the surface; exterior trying in.
Life on repeat — I’m ten years outdated once more.
The odd man out — completely different, at all times will I be.
You assume I don’t slot in? I have to say, I agree.
It’s okay, I inform myself, a repeat of the previous.
However when is it ever okay, being the outcast?
Shake it off and take that step, ahead I’ll press.
Look them within the eye, with a pleasant “God bless.”
It’s nothing new, this cycle — I’ve lived it on repeat.
I do know the transfer to take, , I’ll quietly retreat.
